How does FITOKIO keep the standard to provide the safest fitness gym enviornment?
LOCAL VACCINATION & MASK GUIDELINES
- Kuala Lumpur:
- Masks: Required when in a public area. During exercise, mask is optional.
- Vaccination: Individuals who have been fully vaccinated are individuals who have met the following criteria:
- For vaccine types that require two doses of injection (such as Cominaty (Pfizer-BioNTech), COVID-19 AstraZeneca (Oxford-AstraZeneca), CoronaVac (Sinovac), Spikevax (Moderna)and Covilo (Sinopharm)), the individual in question must have passed the 14th day from the date of the second dose injection; or
- For vaccine types that require only one dose of injection (such as COVID-19 Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) and Convidecia (CanSino)), the individual must have passed the 28th day from the date of injection.
- For individuals who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, they must submit a medical report that has been certified by a registered medical practitioner.
CLEANING AND SANITATION
- Cleaning protocols: In addition to existing continuous cleaning protocols, we’ve added a disinfecting process two times during the day.
- Disinfection procedures: Disinfection of equipment and studio will be done by cleaner after each use. The yoga mat used will be cleaned by customers after each use. The other public areas will be disinfected regularly.

SANITIZER STATIONS
- Hand sanitizers: Hand sanitizer will be provided in public areas.
- Disinfectant wipes: Disinfectant wipes will be provided at the gym area and studio area.

HEALTH CHECKS
- Health declaration: Every customer has to fill in a health declaration form during their first visit.
- Notification : If any of the customers tested positive, notification through WhatsApp or email will be sent out to every customer to let them know about it and we will track if there is any close contact with the said

- Advance booking required: Appointment is needed for all classes and services.

GROUP FITNESS ETIQUETTE
- Class booking: To ensure physical distancing, advanced booking will be required to attend all classes.
- Studio access: Members will be asked to use hand sanitizer before entering the studios. Studios will be closed and unavailable for use between classes to ensure the studio and all equipment is disinfected.

FITOKIO by Tokyo Athletic Club has thoroughly selected a solution for disinfection and sterilization. They are ‘UV Sterilization Duster’ manufactured by Hosobuchi and ‘Natural Ingredient Disinfection Spray’ manufactured by Triple Resist. Both companies are based in Tokyo, Japan.

Hosobuchi Light Bulb Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Arakawa-ku, Tokyo), the world’s first manufacturer of light bulbs for gastrocameras, has developed “UV Sterilization Duster” that can prevent virus infection by sterilizing with UV light.
It is designed with an emphasis on the safety of being cordless driven by a dry battery and irradiating only when the object is covered with a reflective umbrella.

Triple Resist Z Natural Disinfection Spray
Triple resist products are patented technology!
Triple Registry Z is a product with a heart, manufactured based on the invention and technology that received Patent No. 5227631.
In the process of conducting the evaluation based on the antibacterial properties of calcium in shells, it was the lily that reached while testing numerous shells.

FITOKIO is one of the perfect facilities, rarely found in Malaysia, that has outstanding ventilation with exhaust, fresh air in system to circulate and keep indoor air effectively and fresh. It was able to be done, thanks to Tokyo Athletic Club that was in charge of construction. TAC is known as the expert operating the fitness facilities for over 50 years across Japan where indoor ventilation is very strict by law.
